Welcome to: Nature’s Lust Texture Pack Thread
This is one of the first 512×512 (also 256×256 available) texture packs ever released. It features all handmade textures by me, so no pictures used.
I always make my textures at a resolution of 2048×2048, after completion I rescale them to 512×512 and add additional detail that fits the resolution.
This texture pack also introduces a new install method created by me (experimental), installing and allocating memory was never so easy! More info at the download part.
Note: This is still a WiP The test release only features the unpolished test terrain and is still in development.
This installer is an AIO package: There is no more need to manually add the texture to your texture pack folder, no more fiddling with your java to allocate more memory, no more messing with wrong version of java causing the game to crash or run out of memory, no more need to download the patcher,…
Basically it does these things for you in a very easy way! This installer installs the texture pack into the correct folder. It checks if your java version is correct, if not it will pop up a window asking if you want to install it. It launches MCpatcher for you and all you have to do is click PATCH. It even selects the texture pack, so when you enter the game the texture pack is up and running.
It’s that easy and it doesn’t even touch the minecraft.jar (except MCPatcher)
And last but not least: The installer adds (for the 512/256 x64 package) 2x Desktop icons to launch Minecraft. These two shortcuts (Minecraft 2gb and Minecraft 4gb) will allocate 2gb or 4gb of RAM memory (depending what kind of system you have).
This will ensure that you can run the 256/512 pack with enough memory and that it never shows that nasty “Ran out of memory message”.
So you don’t even have to fiddle in your java settings, it’s installed for you with a nice clickable shortcut to your desktop.
The 256 x86 (32bit) version will only have one shortcut that assigns 1Gb of ram to your minecraft, due to 32bit limitations.
