Features
  • You can now  tame pigs, cows, sheep, squids and chickens.
  • Tame animals by right-clicking them with their food.
  • After taming, heart particles will appear (similar to wolves).
  • Feed tamed animals to heal them.
  • Feed healthy animals to get more drops (except sheep).
  • Tamed animals will follow you, if you are close enough and hold their food.
  • Tamed animals won’t despawn.
Tamed animals
Pig
  • Eats wheat.
  • More wheat = more pork (if tamed).
  • Tamed pig won’t despawn.
  • Saddled pig is controllable using keys or mouse.
  • Saddled pig is a good boat, does not break when collided, and swims in water.
  • Saddled pig will jump smartly, but your space bar works too.
  • You can heal saddled pigs by feeding them with wheat.
  • Killed saddled pig will drop pork and the saddle.
Cow

  • Eats wheat.
  • More wheat = more skins (if tamed).
  • Milk is infinite (this is nothing new).
  • Tamed cow won’t despawn.
Sheep
  • Eats leaves (get them with shears).
  • Fleece on tamed sheep will regrow after some time.
  • Dye tamed sheep to get wool of different colour.
  • Regrown wool will have the same colour as before shearing.
  • Tamed sheep will give you slightly more wool when you shear it.
  • Tamed sheep won’t despawn.
Chicken
  • Eats seeds (get them from tall grass).
  • More seeds = more feathers (if tamed).
  • Tamed chickens will lay eggs much more often.
  • Tamed chicken won’t despawn.
Squid
  • Eats fish (get them using fishing rod).
  • Tamed squid should drop ink like chickens lay eggs.
  • Squid can’t follow you.
  • Tamed squid won’t despawn.
Food overview
  • Cow: wheat
  • Chicken: seeds
  • Sheep: leaves
  • Pig: wheat
  • Squid: fish

InstallationCopy *.class files from the downloaded zip into your minecraft.jar (use WinRAR or something similar).
Don’t forget to delete the META-INF folder!

Compatibility
  • Not compatible with other animal-changing mods.
  • This is a singleplayer mod!
  • If you remove this mod (eg. update client), your animals will forget they are tamed.
